Shockwave therapy may be combined with GUNA collagen, hyaluronic acid (HA) or KiOmedine where appropriate. Your clinician will determine the recommended approach after your initial consultation.
Assessment and treatment options are available for spinal degeneration and disc-related pain. Prices are determined after the initial consultation.
Prices are indicative and should be confirmed with the clinic. Treatment suitability, frequency, combinations and outcomes depend on individual clinical assessment.

Symptoms, movement and treatment history are reviewed before deciding on suitable options.

Products, intended uses and supporting evidence should be discussed with the treating clinician.

Recovery advice and any exercise or shockwave programme are tailored to individual needs.
The illustrations are educational. Treatment suitability and outcomes require individual clinical assessment.
Hyaluronic acid and corticosteroid treatment for selected patients with knee osteoarthritis.
Cingal combines hyaluronic acid with triamcinolone hexacetonide in a single intra-articular injection. The components are intended to support joint lubrication and manage inflammation respectively. Treatment suitability and outcomes vary between patients.

The knee relies on cartilage, synovial fluid and surrounding tissues for comfortable movement.

Osteoarthritis can involve cartilage changes, pain, stiffness and reduced mobility.

The corticosteroid addresses inflammation, while hyaluronic acid provides viscosupplementation.

Assessment, discussion of risks and alternatives, injection by a qualified clinician, and aftercare.

Biolevox HA One, HA, HA Tendon and HA Mini have different intended applications. Chris can discuss product information, availability and suitability following an individual clinical assessment.

A hyaluronic acid formulation intended for a single-injection approach in appropriate joints, subject to clinical assessment and product instructions.

A hyaluronic acid formulation that may be administered as a course of injections, depending on the individual and the product instructions.

A formulation intended for selected tendon-related applications. Suitability and the treatment approach require an individual clinical assessment.

A smaller-volume hyaluronic acid formulation for selected small-joint applications. Product indications, dosage and suitability must be confirmed against the manufacturer’s instructions.

A different approach to knee osteoarthritis symptom management.
KiOmedineVSone is a single intra-articular injection containing mushroom-derived carboxymethyl-chitosan (CM-chitosan). Unlike some other joint injections, it is not hyaluronic acid.
NON-ANIMAL DERIVED CM-CHITOSAN
Osteoarthritis may cause knee pain, stiffness and reduced mobility. An individual assessment helps determine suitable options.

The injectable formulation uses a mushroom-derived polymer. It is distinct from hyaluronic acid-based viscosupplements.

Chris can explain potential benefits, uncertainties, contraindications, alternatives and aftercare before any treatment.
Clinical studies have explored pain and function outcomes in knee osteoarthritis. A 2025 pilot study found improvements in both the KiOmedineVSone and comparator groups, without a statistically significant between-group pain difference at 12 months.

Two different technologies. A personalised approach to treatment.
Focused shockwave therapy delivers acoustic energy to targeted tissue. Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT) uses pulsed electromagnetic fields. Depending on your condition and clinical assessment, Chris can discuss whether either treatment may be appropriate.

Focused acoustic waves are delivered to a selected area. Treatment choice and expected outcomes depend on the diagnosis and available evidence.

EMTT applies pulsed electromagnetic fields. Evidence for its effectiveness varies across musculoskeletal conditions, and it may not suit everyone.

Chris can discuss whether one or both therapies have a role alongside exercise, rehabilitation or other care. Combining treatments does not guarantee better results.
